Writing is at the core of every course in college. It has been the best course I have learned so far. I have gained considerable knowledge on the significance of a setting, context, issue, and idea development and compiling them all to develop a logical and informative narrative. In this letter, I will reflect on my experience in the writing course this semester. I will identify and discuss my strengths and weaknesses in writing, describe the progress I have made in this course, and explore my writing process in this course. This letter will also describe how I have made important decisions in writing in this course and the possible application of the knowledge I have learned in other courses that incorporate writing.
I have identified some strengths and weaknesses in writing during this semester pursuing the course. Some of the strengths I identified are focus on the topic, vocabulary and jargon use, and creativity. Writing requires focus to ensure you stick to the topic and present the relevant content only. This way, the reader can follow the story in one piece. I have maintained focus in most of my writing assignments, thus, identifying it as one of my strengths.
Vocabulary and jargon use is also inevitable in writing. I have mastered them and have aided in making my experience better in learning this course. Besides, my creativity is great and has contributed to the list of my strengths in writing. Creativity has helped me write interesting pieces that catch the readers' attention.
