Plagiarism: Reflection and Steps of Maintaining Academic Integrity
Reflection
A few months ago, I sought help to have my essay modified and what was given to me was different from what I had asked. What was sent was an essay that was different from my expected essay modification. This was a mistake because I later realized that seeking help to have something written afresh or even improved can lead to plagiarism. Plagiarism is defined as the process of taking someone else work and posting it as yours. From the definition, it meant that I paid someone to improve my essay and then posted the essay as mine, a move that amounts to academic dishonesty.
