Understanding thematic trends are essential in the study of literature. It allows the reader to become more critical about the story as well as the relationship of its different elements into the whole. Accordingly, some good example where this analysis of subtle themes can be used is in the case of Hamlet and King Lear. In this article, I would discuss both of these novels as well as the subtle thematic trends that exist between them.
On the one hand, the story of King Lear shows the idea of isolationism throughout the story.
