What I have in common with the main character in the story narrated in The Sixth Night is that both of us have a kind and forgiving heart. The man was kind to his brothers even though they did not deserve it. Their father left them an equal share of wealth, but instead of his brothers using it wisely, they misused it. The first brother went to the old man and told him his problems. The old man pitied him and helped him. The second brother did the same, and the man helped him out as well. The two brothers still did not use their wealth wisely. The man kept on helping them even after they had tried to kill him out of jealousyCITATION Edw \l 1033 (Lane). The man’s wife had opted to kill them for him, but the man still wanted them to live free as if they had not wronged him. The wife decided to punish them for him by sending her sister to turn them into dogs, but, the man was still kind enough to take care of the two brothers in that form. Just like this man, I am also very kind and quick to forgive and forget. I forgive people who wrong me and let it go.
