Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind film is one of the highly rated due to its effective utilization of fiction and romantic features in the 21st century. The film which is referred as the romantic science fiction comedy-drama was released in the year 2004. It makes a maximum utilization of the science fiction, psychological thriller and also the nonlinear narration to expound on the nature of romantic love and memory. What makes the movie more interesting is the mimicry technique which engages the memory of the human characters minds and what happened to them in the past times when they were in love with each other or when they were experiencing love. Their behavior explains their experience in their past relationships which is believed to be the reason why characters such as Joel Barish, Young Joel, and Mary Steve behave in the manner they behave in matters of love. Most of the characters have bad memories on the past relationship thus it is affecting their present life.
Synopsis
The film occurs in different scenarios. The scenario shift from the present to the past and from the present to the future. Characters present their relationships on the basis of what had occurred to them in the past. The music also present the moods of the characters through the presentation of specific tracts which are used for grief or happiness in the romantic world. Most of the film activities take place in the mind of Joel as he tries to erase the memories he had previously. He sees his reverse memories for the relationship. As he tries to erase his memories on the relationship he tries to hide some of the good memories with Clementine. The film returns to the present when Joel meets with Clementine on the train. As the film comes to the conclusion they struggle to get back together as they seem to have no clear memories about each other...
