Physical and motor development of the child
The four-year-old is very active and good at walking down stairs without holding onto the rails. She can alternate her legs well and can kick a ball, jump, run and also balance on one foot. She seems to have a huge body as compared to her classmates but is still able to do most of the above activities better than any of her peers.
As well, the child can sit down for a short period required by their teacher without having any discomfort. She can also stand for the required period and do not experience any difficulties while doing it.
Social and emotional development
The child was able to participate well in group activities. However, she was still having temper tantrums, and therefore, she could occasionally arm other students physically in the event whereby they did not comply with her needs. The teacher seemed to be tolerating her behavior and, as a result, I realized that she was very close to her. She could turn to the teacher in the event whereby she wanted a toy that was being used by another student. If not given the toy, then she could start crying while holding onto the teacher.

She was actively calling out for help because it was a group activity and the teacher's attention had been directed to another group. Therefore, she does not have a difficult time while paring with their parents in the morning. This is unlike some of her peers that spend a few minutes crying and trying to get used to not seeing their parents for the rest of the day. Hence, the four-year-old is easy to deal with and often seeks the companionship with her fellow students. She is not choosy when it comes to making friends because I could see her interacting well with the rest of the students.
Intellectual development
The child had an attention period of a maximum of sixteen minutes. The amount of time taken to concentrate depended in the task that the child was being involved with. She found some of the tasks to be boring and therefore, she was unable to concentrate for the 16 minutes fully. On the other hand, interesting tasks caught their attention for long.
As well, the child was alert and able to solve tasks with the help of the other students. However, at times she could reveal temper tantrums by demanding for things instead of asking politely. This is in contrast to some of her ...
