Patients' safety should be a priority in all health care facilities. In this case, nurses and patient care technicians should collaborate and work against all the odds to improve and manage high-quality services for their patients (Wojciechowski, Pearsall, Murphy & French, 2016). Although the professionals play different duties in the treatment and recovery process of their clients, they should join hands and align their work to achieve the best outcomes for their clients. On the other hand, the professional should be ready for the implementation of any changes in their line of duty and operation. For instance, introducing a working schedule to ensure efficiency in the implementation of work, job satisfaction, safety, and quality health care for patients is ideal (Wojciechowski, Pearsall, Murphy & French, 2016). While the approach might have some underlying benefits like time management and substance of quality care, some professionals might face some challenges in adapting to the new plan. However, the opposing forces should not overdue the expected benefits. Health care professionals should embrace the proposed changes to reduce incidences such falls and ensure improvement and maintenance of patients' safety and care.
The proposed changes apply to effective interpersonal relationships between the nurses, patient care technicians, and the consent of the patients in the involvement. Then professionals should understand that the plan is meant to improve the quality of services and safety of the patients (Wojciechowski, Pearsall, Murphy & French, 2016). On the other hand, they will benefit through the achievement of the job's specifications and satisfaction. Seeing clients happy after the delivery of a service is an ultimate achievement nurse should consider fitting into the proposed changes. Although the exercise might be hard to implement, the professionals should find the health of the safety of their patients, especially in the reduction of falls among all ages in the admitted populations (Wojciechowski, Pearsall, Murphy & French, 2016). Also, the physicians should note that all patients are at the risk of falling and take the necessary measures in prevention. In addition, the institution of the changes will aid in curbing the problem of different health professionals colliding with similar patients for various roles. This issue results in inefficiency in the delivery of healthcare since they cannot perform their services at the same time and yield the desired outcomes (Wojciechowski, Pearsall, Murphy & French, 2016). Although the stipulated change might raise the challenge of coping with the given schedule, patient care technicians should make every possible effort to achieve the necessary changes and enhance the delivery of quality health services.
