The human immune system is always in constant flux to maintain homeostasis function but there is always a chance for the system to go completely haywire sending the body into a dire need of aid risking mortality which is sepsis. Sepsis is having a huge impact on organ functions leading to life threatening consequences such as septic shock resulting from an infection. This issue seems to affect the minority population the worst due to health disparity in access to healthcare (Linnander et al.,2022). Patient will begin by experiencing a systemic inflammatory response where early sings would be indicated like high grade fever of more than 38 degrees Celsius, tachycardia, tachypnoea, and leukocytosis or leukopenia with or without bandemia. This response will cause hypotension leading to hypoperfusion of tissues and organs in the body leading to release of cytokines and other chemical mediators from cell destruction (Mahapatra & Heffner, 2023). This will exacerbate microvascular injury activating the coagulation cascade and cause capillary leakage eventually leading to blood loss from septic shock. The use of certain biomarkers can help diagnoses and stage the level of severity of sepsis like non-coding mRNAs, cell proteins and cell membrane receptors but the mortality rate for sepsis is still considered high by today's standard despite many advancements in technology and response protocol (Barichello et al., 2022). This illness will increase for patient to develop cardiac issues, respiratory dysfunction, renal failure, and cognitive function decline due to multi organ failure causing the need for mechanical respiration and other life saving measure (Mahapatra & Heffner, 2023). Early intervention is vital for the success of mortality prevention and permanent disability via antibiotics.

Your comprehensive exploration of sepsis, emphasizing the profound influence of health disparities on sepsis outcomes, is of significant importance. Furthermore, the utilization of biomarkers for diagnosing and staging sepsis is pivotal for enabling early intervention. Notably, recent research has delved into the role of microbiome
