Every organization craves a leader who will guarantee success while maintaining a positive and inclusive culture. My perfect leader needs to be a great communicator, emotionally intelligent, open-minded, a servant leader, and focus on relationships.
Effective communication is a key ingredient for outstanding leadership. A leader ought to communicate clearly and effectively. This means that they stand by what they say, listen to feedback, and are welcoming to criticism (Luthra & Dahiya, 2015). How a leader communicates informs their emotional intelligence as well as their humility. Therefore, my perfect leader ought to communicate effectively. Also, such a leader needs to be emotionally intelligent. Emotional intelligence mainly entails the ability to showcase empathy, compassion, and excellent social skills while in a leadership position.
