Reflection on what I learned in Composition 1 Language Essay

One or 1.5 pages with 3-4 sections with one main topic sentence of "I have learned" or something along those lines that I can build off of and stretch out would be great. Have a brief
introduction that includes the course (Composition 1), the semester (summer?), and a thesis arguing the most important issues discussed and practiced during the course of the semester. We read and reflected on How to Say Nothing in 500 Words or Less, discussed MLA format, introducing and citing evidence, finding evidence, did peer editing, etc.

Please include 2-3 specific things you learned that you believe have improved your understanding of being successful in your pursuit of higher education or that you believe has benefited your college experience. Your paper should include:

 

  • A summary of your overall experience in this class. This should be written as paragraphs – not bullet points.
  • 2-3 specific things you learned this semester that improved your experience as a student. How will you take these items and apply them to future situations?
  • How has this class benefited you? Or how could this class be improved to be more beneficial for future students?
  • Your paper should be at least 3 pages long.
  • Your paper should be typed in Times New Roman font, 12 pt. and double spaced.
  • You should include your name, this class title, the date, page number, and a title for your paper located at the top of the page (the same formatting as our homework assignments).
  • This paper is due by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, August 5th.

Reflection on Composition One
Understanding the fundamentals of writing and grammar is important for the pursuit of higher knowledge. It allows us to be able to understand, analyze, and communicate the changes that could lead to the improvement of the overall society around us.
