The code of ethics for a company works in conjunction with other policies that guide the behavior of employees both in and outside the workplace. It combines the company`s mission and vision statements. The code of ethics must be specific in describing the particular aims and objectives of the company and the expectations from the staff in terms of behavior and responsibility. 2.0 Background of the organization The Home Care Centre was established as a voluntary organization to take care for the aged and homeless. It also cares for deserted children. They provide education facilities to school going children and food. The organization was founded by a group of volunteers who wanted to give back to the community. They mainly rely on donations from corporate companies and well wishers to finance their activities. The government sometimes gives support through access to subsidized services. 3.0 Summary of the code This code of ethics seeks to outline the main values and virtues that must be observed by all stakeholders of the organization.
