Uber’s stakeholders are riders, employees, investors, government/ regulatory agencies, drivers, management and mobile operating systems providers. Stakeholder analysis on stakeholders’ levels of interest, importance, expectations, and influence is necessary to understand their social enterprise impact. The analysis also helps to evaluate the strength of the relationships and leverage these relationships to improve success.Riders
The riders are the clients of passengers who expect good service, safety, and convenience. There has been a growing demand for rideshare services, and some customers prefer specific drivers. Their main stakes are interesting in the service provided and a right. They are the main source of revenue, and they prefer a convenient option, including when there are transportation problems. Uber riders use the Uber app and, Uber is expected to ensure there is ease in movement. The company meets and exceeds the users’ expectations where there are rations so users may choose to be clients for certain drivers.
Employees
Uber has employees working directly for the company, and the social enterprise requires employees to run the day-to-day operations. Working at Uber provides a path to professional development. Uber must follow the employment laws in areas where they operate, and this includes ensuring there is a good working environment for employees and employees seek fair wages and salaries.
