FEEDBACK:Hi, Artquishia - You earned a grade of B on this paper (80%). Please read through my feedback below and review the comments on the submission.
The outline is an important step in any writing activity; you have done a very good job and should be able to develop your essay based on this outline. Note, however, that as you continue to work on your essay, you will develop the outline more fully. You will want to develop 2-5 paragraphs per supporting point by the time you have the final draft.
Well done; your thesis statement is a good beginning and will guide your essay. It may change as you continue to draft the essay, but that will be fine. However, remember that the thesis statement is one sentence. Does your thesis statement need editing?
You have gotten off to a good start, but the draft needs editing and revision. Remember, the thesis statement guides the draft. Use key words in the paragraph topic sentences and the paragraphs to keep the essay on topic. The paragraphs for the starting draft that are to be submitted here are the first two paragraphs of the essay, the introduction with the thesis statement at the last sentence or second to last sentence of the introduction, and the second paragraph is to be the body paragraph immediately following the introduction. Please review the webtext, ch. 5.7, and information in the announcements. In addition, see the comments on the submission.
Good beginning. Remember, however, to edit carefully; if there are too many formatting, grammar, and/or mechanical errors, the message will not be conveyed to the reader. There are a number of grammatical, mechanical, and/or formatting errors in the submission. Check the grammar appendices in the webtext; use Grammarly to help you. You can also use tutor.com to help with grammar, essay and theisis structure, and SWS formatting. Both are free to you.
Well done; however, although the feedback is listed, the reflection needs development. It is important to reflect upon the feedback from a writing activity in order to use it in future writing activities. In addition, see the comments on the submission.
I think you should review this short document on the Strayer University Writing Standards to help improve your writing srtyle and earn better grades. There is also a handy FAQ document to get the answers to common questions and even a sample paper that uses SWS.
Have you tried the online library to find quality resources for use in assignments? You can find the library at research.strayer.edu. What's great about our library is that there's a general search box you can use to search multiple databases at once and save time. You can even use filter the results to only peer reviewed (aka quality) resources. Ploease note as well that we have excellent resources in the webtext, ch. 3-6, and in the announcements.
Did you know Tutor.com offers a 24/7 live chat for writing help and a drop off paper review service? I recommend all of my students take advantage of their expertise. You can find the link under the Tutor tab, on the left side of Blackboard. Use the paper review service for your draft. tutor.com can also help with SWS formatting.
Do you know that using correct grammar will help your readers respect your ideas and help you communicate those ideas clearly? Your SOOMO webtext has grammar help appendices; another good source of help is the OWL @ Purdue: https://owl(dot)purdue(dot)edu/owl/purdue_owl.html Two other helpful sites are Grammarly (se ch. 1.10 in the webtext to register) and tutor.com, accessed through the tutor tab on the left side of Blackboard. With these resources, you will conquer grammar and become an expert communinicator.
When you quote, paraphrase or summarize from your sources, you must set up a need for the source to add supporting evidence. Then, if you quote, use the quote, remembering to use a signal phrase to introduce the quote or any type of source material (see webtext, ch. 6.5, incorporating evidence). After you quote and cite your quotation, analyze the quote, discussing its relevance to the topic (see ch. 6.6). Then, continue developing the paragraph following that pattern. See ch. 5.5 for information about the paragraph. Remember that the quotation should be short and only used to provide evidence for your points. In addition, as a general rule, do not begin or end a paragraph with cited material. Take a look at the video below that analyzes a paragraph using research:

My long-term career goal in accounting
As a kid, I was not only playing with dolls, but also I was attracted to games that involved learning math, solving problems, and unraveling puzzles. At the age of three, my mother started teaching me math, and she liked the idea that I enjoyed playing with numbers. The passion for numbers and solving math quizzes kept growing during my elementary, middle, and high school. During my time in high school, I knew I wanted to be an accountant, as I liked the idea of working with numbers and balancing amounts. Our high school math teacher used to say, if you want to become a good accountant, “You must love numbers,” and with no doubt, I knew she was encouraging me to keep pushing for more. After high school, I have joined the university to study accounting degree, and become a certified public accountant. Although I have liked the many fields of accounting, such as cost accounting, auditing, managerial accounting, I have developed more interests in forensic accounting.
My long-term goal is to become a forensic accountant. Being one fastest of the rising and exciting career in law enforcement today, forensic accountants help in the detection of financial irregularities and fraud (Bailey, 2016). I want to work with either the Federal Bureau of investigation or the United States Secret service in planning, implementing, and managing complex auditing investigations that will support litigation activities. Since I was a young adult, I have always wanted a chance to give back to the state and my community who have played a significant role in my education. Therefore, I believe as a forensic accountant I will help my country unravel financial puzzles associated with fraud. With most of the state department being prone to fraud and corruption, I believe by the use of my investigative and auditing skills- I will help bring culprits of financial fraud to justice.
As a forensic accountant in either of the two institutions, I will have a chance to investigate complex financial irregularities such as financial institution fraud, mortgage fraud, healthcare fraud, securities, and commodities fraud. Besides, I want to advance in the diverse positions of forensic accounting to become a senior forensic accountant. As a senior forensic accountant, I will be in a position to adopt policies that will reduce the overall financial fraud in the country. I will adopt a strategic threat management methods that can help organizations anticipate and respond to ris...
