1 What was IV?
Because they are the controlled group, the word groups, including classified and non-categorized words, are the independent variable (IV). Thus, the set of words in both categorized and non-categorized terms can be altered, and the recall performance will have no effect on the set of words.
2 What was DV?
This study's dependent variable (DV) is the recall performance of the respondents, which the researchers measure. It depends on the group of words in question, whether they are categorized or uncategorized. Therefore, the mean score for memory performance will vary depending on the categorized and non-categorized words used. In this case, the variable will be different based on the collection of words that need to be memorized.
3 What statistical test was used?
