Since its inception, the JetBlue Airways Corporation has provided equal opportunity for all workers, and qualified applicants during recruitments processes receive consideration regardless of their race, color, religion and any other characteristics which are protected by the law. The Human Resources Manager initiates and supervises all Human Resources related objectives that will provide an effective performance culture for all workers which promote productivity and empowerment (Eaton, 2017). Additionally, they ensure that all physical attainment structures and recruitment processes reflect on the superior workforce in the enterprise.
This individual develops the metrics and frameworks that enhance the achievement of the business objectives of the enterprise (Snell, Morris, & Bohlander, 2015). They also report to the CEO and help and advise the managers of the Airlines concerning Human Resources related issues. The Human Resources Manager is also accountable for checking the backgrounds of job applicants, hiring airline staff and flight crews, processing benefits and paperwork, and also interfacing with insurance companies affiliated to the organization (Eaton, 2017). They should also have the ability to interpret labor contracts and communicating with union representatives on employee grievances.
Responsibilities and duties
The Human Resources Manager will provide the proper direction required in association to employee benefits and the necessary compensations. They must also develop the strategic and functional duties which will be utilized by all the Human Resources staff (Snell, Morris, & Bohlander, 2015). The Human Resources Manager will create strategic compensation frameworks which are directly linked with the performance management structures created by the organization. They will also continuously evaluate negotiations for group and individual health care benefits for the enterprise.
