this one page paper is to summarize the key points integrated by the theme of the paper. The point of this paper is to summarize the paper that will be uploaded as a file. Basically summarize what I have discussed in the whole paper by including Justin's goals, issues, assessment, and conclusion of the literature review. an example of this summary is as followed:
As summary of the key points within this case conceptualization include a young woman who presented with concerns about her mental health and wanted support in learning how to cope with these new symptoms, while also staying on top of how to manage and move forward with a better understanding of how to challenge some of the thoughts and behaviors that were
perhaps guiding her down the unhealthy path. With the limited information shared together we were able to create an understanding of what her current situation included, the internal dialogue she had created as a result of that situation and the behaviors that had become maladaptive
11 CBT AND THE STRESS OF UNIVERSITY patterns as a result (lowered physical activity, increase in anxiety, low mood and occasional social isolation). These were identified rather quickly as an unwanted situation and with the protective factors of insight, internal motivation and collaborative efforts (Okamoto et al., 2019) we created a plan that would both support her in making positive, intentional changes, while also staying within the time limited program the university offered with a few optional and encouraged resources (booster sessions, online resources) to stay on track. What this case identified is that there will be times when we are working with limited information, however, are still expected to support with the tools and knowledge we hold. This case we were able to make some assumptions and create a supportive therapeutic program from the selected CBT framework (Haarhoff, Flett & Gibson, 2011). Being flexible, present and aware of what the best fit and course of action for your client may be as well as seeking support and supervision when needed are all important pieces to creating a case conceptualization. Additionally, supporting your clients with evidence-based practices and treatments will increase the likelihood of outcome success while also decreasing the possibility of doing harm to your client (Australian Psychological Society, 2010; Nezu, Martell & Nezu, 2014; Huisman & Kangas, 2018).
