Combination of illustration and Caption to produce an argument

Article Critique Instructions:
We are supposed to find three images (I chose them and I\'ll attach them as well) and then choose a caption for each image. Then make an argument about these illustrations through these five subjects: 1. avant-gardism and politics, 2. Making of tradition of modernism, 3. CIAM, 4. Centre/Periphery, 5. North African housing and the colonial subject. This is what my professor asked us to do: (In this assignment we are looking for concepts that support arguments that work toward a larger thesis about architecture. We are expecting that each caption will be argued with precision, that is, with a view to framing an argument. We expect the combination of illustration + caption will produce a correspondence between word and image, mediating between content and thesis. The image and text will be mutually informing. Consider this an opportunity to test and develop ideas about architecture, representation, and visual persuasion.) Each caption should be a maximum and no more than five (5) sentences in length. I will attach three citation in this category to show you how to make an argument about these images in a precise concept about history of architecture. Thanks a lot

Caption I

This work is a utopian reflection of form and invisible network of communication that can be traced back to the discourse generated by the CIAM around 1930. It can be deduced that the theoretical basis for the project rests on the idea that modern city is the product of industrial capitalism, located production on the periphery. Politics and Architecture normally do not seem to mix, but this caption captures the opposite: politics of balancing between opposites.
The potential negative consequences of technology and politics` inability to solve social problems are the core concerns of self-aware architects, due to the fast trend of globalization; proponents of Superstudio have envisioned the world as a place where all cultures are swept away and the world lives as one global village. In summary the caption brings out the utopian reflection of form dating to as early as 1930s through the concept of modern city, modernism and technology.Peter Lang, William Menking (2003), Superstudio: Life Without Objects, Skira.
Caption II
This picture depicts a notion which began developing in the 1960`s due to political agitation and resulted in arch scientific View of the City as a Living, Breathing Organism. It shows an Avant - garde artist and architecture embracing of biological and scientific models that applies no form.
This picture gives grand visions of future cities and encourages the realization of experimental architecture to explore radical and new directions in urban design; it also helps in developing projects that were considered fancy, complex and conceptually serious in communication and networks. It also displays "the Metabolism Theory of Architecture." It proposes that buildings and cities should be designed and developed in the same way that the material substance of a natural organism is produced which has been successful in laying the foundation of Japan`s ar...
