Get ready for the #BestWeekEver! From making 10-gallon milkshakes with sticks to making s’mores around the campfire to listening (really listening) to kids share their experiences, camp is a magical place unlike any other. We’re looking for good humans to volunteer as camp counselors for one week this summer.
What’s The Role?
As a camp counselor you will be staying in a bunk with your campers while you:
Engage children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games and field trips while maintaining a safe environment.
Lead a group of up to 10 campers ages 8-12 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model.
Resolve occasional fights between children and address behavioral issues.
Make sure campers brush their teeth, take showers, use appropriate language, resolve conflicts effectively, change their socks, make a new friend, create an environment of inclusion, sleep, eat, play, laugh, and have the best week of their year!
Being fully present with campers (no cellphones!).
