Written by Luis J. Rodriguez, Always Running is one of the bestselling classic memoirs in history. This award-winning story is about a young gang member who survives the dangerous streets of East Los Angeles. Throughout the book, the author sheds light on different aspects of his life and describes how he lost his innocence while working as a street criminal or a gang member. Luis J. In this book, the author also points out that the police is responsible for controlling the violent outbursts in the city, but instead of doing so, they contributes to the problem and this gives rise to an increased number of gang rapes, street crimes and murders within the city.
