The rapid deterioration in climatic condition is a titanic security risk in the modern society. The changes have enormous influence on peace and stability of the world. Food insecurity is one direct effect of climate change in many countries. The need to adopt environmentally friendly policies to mitigate climatic change is inevitable. Ideally, human activities like overgrazing, deforestation, and poor agricultural mechanism are the most significant intrigues of climatic change. Though studies have implicated direct interaction of climate change with peace and stability, however, there is restricted and concise evidence connecting climatic changes with armed conflicts. The eruption of conflicts in the modern society emanates from decreased food production. This paper will analyze the contrasting argument and information postulated by two different articles about climate change. The subject articles of analysis are Buhaug, Halvard.
