You are required to write a 400-word critical analysis of the following text:

A critical analysis is an exercise in which you are asked to critically evaluate specific material (text, video, etc) where you identify, explain and evaluate the main argument made by the author, thus developing your own argument relating to the material.

The article ‘President Donald Trump's Davos address in full’ is a speech given by US President Donald Trump at the annual world economic forum in 2018. The address provides major financial growth/success achieved by the US since Donald Trump became president. The speech further outlines and elaborates more economical strategies underway to enhance a competitive America.
The article points out that due to the attractive fiscal and monetary policy regulations by the government, America experienced remarkable economic developments, creating over 2.4 million jobs in the country (Trump, 2018). The lower corporate taxes have resulted in an increase in household earnings and savings, which in turn, the citizen can invest more, thus increased economic growth. In the speech, Trump (2018), gives out some of the expected business financial plans, such as encouraging free and open trade with other countries globally, a call to invest in America, and ways to achieve economic growth for all countries involved.
