Self Service Administration Name: Institution: In the recent past the human resources managers have been under great pressure from their employees to introduce Self-Service Administration. These systems are bound to increase the efficiency, as crucial information is easily accessed through enhanced communication within the organizations. Some of the managers, however, feel that the system could be subject to abuse, by employees or the management (Anheier, SPHR and Doherty, 2000). To safe guard on the security of the system, a set of policies can help give the human resource managers gain confidence in the system. Access to the system should be limited to the individuals using passwords and usernames. Every staff will be allowed to formulate their secret username and password, that they will be required to enter into the system to access their personal information (Atlanta Metropolitan State College, 2011). These are not to be disclosed to any one, including the management, to safe guard the users’ sensitive information. For the purposes of protecting the staffs’ data, the passwords will not be stored on the system. The record will also be secured on the company server as they hold very sensitive information.
