Christianity in a Global Context
This paper answers the question, why Christianity took hold in some places more than others? Christianity has spread world over due to various reasons; some scholars argue that in some areas such as Rome, Christianity was made the official language this triggered so much influence and control of the religion in the areas. This was a great breakthrough as the Roman Empire was a symbol of strength and recognition and hence regions around them would believe in Christianity. In this case all areas under the Roman Empire would embrace it while those under other empires would oppose it.
