Interpreting the Primary Sources
The document was written by two authors- Jerry, H. Bentley and Herbert, F. Ziegler. Bentley is currently a professor of History at the University of Hawaii, not to mention editor of the Journal of World History. Ziegler on the other hand is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Hawaii. Both authors are extensively gifted in their areas of writing. Research conducted by Bentley for instance, has revealed a lot on cross –cultural history of the general world based on moral, religious and political understanding of the Renaissance period. Ziegler has taught world history for 19 years, and has impacted heavily on 20th century European political and social history.
