A eudiometer is a lab device that helped measure the changes in the volume of the gas mixture in this experiment. The physical and chemical changes of the gas were closely observed. Hydrogen gas was obtained by reacting zinc and magnesium. In order to determine the accurate number of moles, the ideal gas law was used. Once the experiment was over, the number of moles were found to be n = 0.00113 mole.
