The article titled “Making African Suffering Legible: Co-constructing Narrative of the Darfur Atrocities” by J. Siguru Wahutu explores how the media and various actors co-constructed the narrative of the Darfur crisis in Sudan and how this narrative influenced the international response and intervention. It examines the role of African journalism in covering events and shaping the discourse and representation of African suffering to African audiences.
