Disseminating best practices and adopting IOM recommendations will likely result in better patient outcomes in an environment where nurses practice with fewer barriers. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the IOM report and Future of Nursing
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) partnered with the Institute of Medicine (IOM) to report on delivering quality health care and enhancing nurses' roles.
