Studies on Educational engagement and Family formations among other factors always have state’s attention. Need to do so rise since the information serves as an input in the event of establishing both taxation and budget systems. Revenue collection is channeled back to the citizens to improve their social-welfare. Perfect knowledge of the social need-frame leads to good decision making on state’s expenditure. Glick and her team have therefore came together to shed light on Educational engagement and Early family formation drawing insights by having detailed look at Differences by Ethnicity and Generation. The main goal of this work is to determine how school engagement impacts on the time-frame of family formation by analyzing the influence brought by the diverse immigrants.
Hypotheses in this case suggest that; (1) School engagement together with parents’ close involvement into youths’ life negatively impacts into family formation precisely non-marital births. Inclusion of school engagement in the study also is expected to project differences in both racial and ethnic aspects. (2) Examining the two groups (i.e. minority group status and blocked opportunities) across both ethnic and racial groups we are expecting to find each presumed possibilities applying for both groups. (3) Lastly, basing on theories of minority group status, we expect to see a gradual increase in family formation through the generation (among the immigrants) starting with the slowest family formation transition on those considered earliest immigrants or first generation. Generation status if tested across ethnicity and race a varying pattern is likely to be an outcome from one group to another.
