Persuasive Speech “Formal Outline”

Introduction

Write in complete sentences. Refer to chapter on Outlining Your Speech.

I.

Attention Getter:

Everything that humanity has ever felt is impossible has in one way or another been made to look normal. No one thought that we would live to see laptops when the largest size of RAM was l28MB. Then the laptops came. Slowly, however, they also appear to be too heavy and the world was introduced to iPads. Now, what Apple has done with the iPad Pro is more than what the world had asked and expected. The iPad Pro is not only big, but also boasts of a number of accessories that will help you accomplish a lot of tasks than ever before. This device gifts its users a new way of stretching the limits of iOS.

II.

Thesis Statement:

The iPad Pro is a must have for everybody because it is not only powerful as most computers, but also more intuitive. This device stretches the way computers can work and come heavy with apps designed specifically for an iPad.

III.

Connection with Audience:

Ever felt limited by the old iPads especially when you want to use multiple apps at the same time? Well, here is your chance to have that experience with proper split-screen support.

IV.

Speaker’s Credibility:

Having taken interest in design, I have discovered that I need a device that will gift me the freedom I need to work from anywhere in the world. Whenever ideas come, I need something that will help me do what I want and not take away anything from the experience.

V.

Preview of Main Points:

The iPad Pro does stand out in several ways compared to its predecessors as well as its competition. Three things help to distinguish the iPad Pro from the rest. These include:

-          Gifts users the same power as most computers.

-          It is more intuitive.

-          Stretches the way computers work with its many iPad specific apps.

Persuasive Speech “Formal Outline” (contd.)

Body

Write in complete sentences. Important: Include evidence and reasoning and other persuasive appeals in sub-points (refer to source in each sub-point by paraphrasing, quoting, or summarizing with a citation following APA format – 6th edition), and insert transitions between main points. Refer to chapters on Researching Your Speech, Outlining Your Speech, and Persuasive Speaking, & Methods of Persuasion.

I.

Main Point One:

The iPad Pro gifts users with the same amount of power as computers.

Sub-point A: (w/source citation, if applicable)

The iPad Pro features an A12X Bionic chip which is similar to the processor installed in iPhone XS and XR but more powerful (Camp, 2018).

Sub-point B: (w/source citation, if applicable)

The iPad Pro is powerful enough to help users use heavy apps like Adobe Photoshop.

Sub-point C: (w/source citation, if applicable)

With a battery life of 10 hours and being as thin as it is, the iPad Pro can serve you for a good number of hours every day (Apple).

Transition:

Having discussed how powerful the iPad is, I now move on to the next point to help enhance my claim of why having this iPad is important.

II.

Main Point Two:

The iPad Pro does work like a computer but it is more intuitive.

Sub-point A: (w/source citation, if applicable)

With the iPad Pro, a user can use multiple apps at the same time (Brooks, 2016).

Sub-point B: (w/source citation, if applicable)

With the iPad Pro, one can also move objects from one app to another just by dragging them.

Sub-point C: (w/source citation, if applicable)

Even though it is runs on the iPadOS, it is built on the foundation of iOS. So, the experience is almost similar to that of iPhone users.

Transition:

Having expounded on how intuitive the iPadPro is, I will now move to the third point where I plan to mention the pencil and the keyboard and how these two add value to the iPad Pro.

III.

Main Point Three:

The iPad Pro stretches the way computers work with its many iPad-specific apps. The presence of an enhanced pencil and keyboard also gift the iPad a much more enhanced look compared to its predecessors.

Sub-point A: (w/source citation, if applicable)

The iPad Pro comes fitted with a lot of iPad-specific apps that promise its users a great experience. Other apps that promise users a new experience include Keynote and Pages.

Sub-point B: (w/source citation, if applicable)

Pairing the iPad Pro with a pencil adds a lot to it. You can use the pencil to scribble on the screen or even try out new design ideas (Panzarino, 2018).

Sub-point C: (w/source citation, if applicable)

An external keyboard is always easier to use and the iPad Pro comes with this accessory. This promises you a great experience especially if your intentions are to type a long text (Evans, 2018).

Transition:

Having exhausted the points, I will not offer a summary of my points in the conclusion and finalize my speech.

Persuasive Speech “Formal Outline”

Conclusion

Write in complete sentences. Refer to chapter on Outlining Your Speech.

I.

Summary of Main Points:

The iPad Pro promises heaven and unlike other tech devices, it does offer users a heaven. Aside from being as powerful as many computers, the device offers users an experience like no other with the presence of an enhanced pencil and the option of using a keyboard. The iPad is also more intuitive as it allows users to use different apps at the same time as well as move objects from one app to another.

II.

Clincher:

Well, you do not need to be a designer to see a need in having the iPad Pro. Some say that it is replacing laptops and looking at its features, one cannot be faulted when they agree to this statement. It is thin, portable, and powerful. If you love writing, you can write whenever you are and if you love drawing, you can draw as ideas flow in your head. What will gift you such an experience other than the iPad Pro? Well, get one and discover for yourself how important it will eventually be to you.

iPad Pro With Apple Pencil And Keyboard
Name:
Institution:
Ipad Pro with Apple Pencil and Keyboard
Introduction
Advancement in technology has impacted the emergence of various inventions from computers to laptops to computers and even phones, among many other things. As can be observed across the world today, most new devices are designed to provide simplified alternatives for already existing ideas or objects. One of the latest inventions that have been created in the current world today is the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and keyboard. iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and keyboard is not just a simplified version of the computer or iPad but rather a more exciting device that presents its users a platform to maximally utilize iOS functionalities (Apple 2019). With the experiences in the current world where official duties are not necessarily done in the office settings, iPad Pro with pencil and keyboard is a device everyone should have to facilitate their official duties from outside the offices. The need for proper displays and keyboard for graphic designing jobs has proven to be difficult with the older iPads, something that has been solved by the invention of iPad Pro with pencil and keyboard. Unique features in iPad Pro that make it stand out compared to the previous models of iPad include a smart keyboard, improved cameras, and enhanced display technology.
Benefits of iPad Pro
iPad Pro has Apple's ProMotion technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate (Panzarino, 2018). This feature facilitates movements on the device from scrolling the displayed contents to watching movies and playing video games to happen smoothly. It, therefore, does seem to be an essential factor for video and photo editors as well as graphic designers. Therefore, no individual in mentioned professional careers would like to be left behind as a laggard of an outdated device. The answer to their problems is in the new iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and keyboard. Aside from the screen display feature, the device has one of the best cameras. Unlike other devices, iPad Pro model cameras have high resolutions with the capabilities of shooting videos in 4K. Besides, the iPad Pro camera can shoot videos in slow motion of up to 240 frames per second.
One of the significant limitations that have been associated with other iPads is that they lack smart keyboards, thus rendering them ineffective for outside office duties (Brooks, 2016). Professionals in a career that entail creating various designs on the computer have always been a disadvantaged lot when it comes to working from outside the office. Their major cry has always been a lack of mouse and keyboards, which are e...
