Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) was born in Ansfelden in Austria (Watson). Bruckner's scales are unusually long and his symphony cycles are some of his most well-known works. However, his cycle is less varied than those of other well-known 19th century classical composers. Bruckner is known for his sacred music and symphonies where his experience influenced his composition style.
