Speech Presentation Instructions:

Hello~ Could you please help me write a written speech about reflection on the management course study and two assessments result, and what has changed since the course was completed? I will send you all the courseware involved in the course and the feedback of my two assessments. As for the changes or improvements before and after the course study, my suggestion is that maybe you can take a close look at the courseware content of any two weeks and describe your feelings before and after reading. I hope this suggestion can help you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will reply to you soon! This reflective speech is really really important to me as the last assessment of the course! Thank you very much!!!

Assessment Requirement

Description of assessment task

The final assessment task is designed for you to reflect upon the course, and how you have changed. It also requires you to consider your learning and how you have changed as a result of your study. On the basis that education should be transformative, we want to hear about your ability to self-reflect.

The reflection is submitted in two parts:

• Over this term you have been asked to become a lifelong learner. In doing so you need to have self-awareness, self-reflection and self-regulation.

• Reflect upon the feedback you received over both your memo and case study. Did you improve, why or why not?

• Reflect upon the 10 weeks of content - make meaning of it for you specifically consider how are you different and draw upon this as 'data'.

• Read the set article located in the reading list under assignment 3. How does it inform you as a lifelong learner ?

Part 1

You need to make a single video presenting what you have learned and how you have changed ( it is not a summary video it is a reflective presentation about you and how you have changed). No edits, no props or slides, consider it a recorded interview. You should be dressed professionally as you might if you were attending an online meeting or interview.

Part 2

Upload a transcript of what you said in your video to Turnitin. Transcribe your video and submit that transcript to Turnitin. A transcript is done AFTER and as a result of your video. You should edit this transcript and provide references in it to show your work as informed.

Supporting resources and links

In completing your reflection, you must include some reference to your personal feedback received in assignment 1and 2 by way of evidence or data. Your weekly Wikis may also become a source of data/evidence. There will be a set reference to guide your reflection.

Ethics Refers to the Standards of What People Should and Should Not Do
Ethics refers to the standards of what people should and should not do. Organizations establish ethics to cultivate a harmonious and thriving environment. Thus, it is essential to fully understand what ethics is and what are the ethical considerations in particular places or settings. Through the course MGMT 5050, I gained critical concepts about various topics such as cultural humility, sustainable development goals, ethical decision-making, and many more. In addition, I also acquired life-long lessons and skills such as giving voice to values, reflecting, and building an argument that will aid me in my academic journey and future life experiences. Additionally, the course allowed me to advance and improve in self-reflecting and giving and receiving feedback. I like the design of this course since it has assisted me in becoming a self-regulated learner. I can gain ownership and authority over my learning process. It means I can control how much learning I obtain daily, how many hours I study, and which learning style is best for me (Linden 2018). The feedback provided on the learner’s performances best exemplifies this situation. In my case, the tutor’s feedback on previous assessments revealed that the tasks were poorly completed and could be improved. The first assessment is crafting an organizational memo, which aims to provide suggestions on the areas where a company falls. In this assessment, the tutor stated that I understand the concepts of ethics, system thinking, and SDGs. Still, they must be expanded and deepened by incorporating the concepts of system thinking, economic theory, and SDGs, as well as assessing and mitigating risks. Meanwhile, the second assessment is crafting a case study report that uses the seven steps of ethical decision. The tutor commented on my submitted task and clarified that it was not a case study because I did not follow the seven steps, and appeared more like a literature review. Thus, at this point, there is no improvement. Fortunately, the tutor’s feedback helped me understand the meaning of ethics, system thinking, SDGs, and the seven steps of ethical decision-making. When I reencounter these problems, I can use an analysis tool, ethical framework, economic theory, risk assessment, and risk mitigation to solve or analyze them better. As a result of the tutor’s feedback, I realized that my ability to analyze problems and incorporate critical concepts is poor and needs improvement. The lessons and topics in the course are interwoven to build an essential concept, and each week is rich in content. As for me, the lessons from the first and eighth weeks have positively influenced me. The first week emphasized the importance of ethics and its incorporation into education and the workplace. The newspaper article, Human rights climb the business school curriculum, emphasizes that business schools must integrate ethics (Jack 2021). On the other hand, in the video, The business benefits of doing good, the speaker emphasizes that if a company makes ethical solutions and decisions, it would largely contribute to its and society’s success (TED 2018). The eighth week of...
