With the contemporary advancements in society, more disciplines rely on massive data amounts and subsequent analysis. The novel technologies have also enhanced the power of Biology, which assists in developing meaningful conclusions based on the data provided. Through biostatistics and bioinformatics concepts, findings can be generalized to address diverse public health issues.
As a biology graduate from _________________, I consider joining the graduate school in the public health department and the computer science department. Through these opportunities, I aim to undertake Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, which are vital to advancing my biologist career. Bioinformatics is a discipline that entails retrieving data and analyzing the biochemical and biological aspects through mathematical and computer science methods. As people utilize big data in biological aspects, the ability to analyze massive data is vital in biological disciplines. Therefore, the two subjects are vital in enhancing healthcare delivery by proposing solutions informed by data.
