Essay #2 is the topic i want to develop. Please incorporate parts of Essay #1. I will also send an additional subject matter that should be included.
- Start the paper with process of becoming a social media influencer ie...wig endorsements, contact lens endorsements, Shein clothing haul
- Discuss how boys in middle school didn't find me pretty.
- Discuss how after gaining Instagram followers people started to notice me in 8th grade. In detail, people wanted to be my friend, popular boys started to notice me.
- Discuss how one moment can alter many moments to come.
- Discuss how when a private video my first boyfriend and i made leaked and how people turned against me and called me names, it felt like teachers knew, i was embarrassed and ashamed, my mother was extremely disappointed and hurt.

Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
Intro:
For many teenagers highschool Some people say that high-school is a major turning point of your life, where you may find your true identity.. Personally, I believe it all starts in middle school.
In my younger years, I never had the cute puppy love that most children start out with because I was a quite lanky child compared to my male peers. If I wanted a boyfriend, I sought out older boys, which isn’t quite suitable considering our different maturity levels. My first relationship opened the doors to many different experiences, some that can make or break your person.
Body
I wouldn’t say that I’ve had the best encounters with boys in middle school. My first boyfriend actually left a stain on my heart forever because of the many hardships that happened during that relationship. We made a poor decision to record ourselves during our first intimate moment in 2019, which still haunts me to this day. The video that we decided to record made its way around my hometown of Chicago.
Many people knew me/knew of me at this time because of my heavy social media presence in 2019. I was growing followers very quickly, and soon had plans of starting my own youtube channel, just like the social media influencers that I’d admired. I was soon temporarily deterred from this path once the backlash of our video tookover my direct messages and the comments on my instagram posts. Thankfully, my mother made me deactivate all of my social media accounts to protect myself from negativity. That time away from social media allowed me to understand my role and poor decision-making.
At this point in time, my head was all over the place. I sought out a therapist and psychiatrist for my emotional distress. It took months to find peace within myself, but these moments don’t last forever, they redefine you.
Conclusion
The summer after my 8th grade graduation is when I felt that I was ready to get back onto social media. I had dreams of being a youtube star, and I couldn’t let just one minor setback ruin my dreams. I uploaded my first video onto youtube during my freshman year of highschool. My content was receiving good feedback, and I was happy with my increasing influx of followers both on instagram and youtube. My instagram had reached about 13,000 followers.
Everything that I had manifested for myself was now becoming reality. Companies reached out to me to send clothes, wigs, contact lenses, etc. I took an experience that many would perceive as negative and flipped it upside down. I took control of what I was going through because I couldn’t let it get the best of me.
The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
Subject: Essay #1
Intro:
A time that I faced a minor setback was a couple years back when I met my first boyfriend. To start off he was a little older than me, which came with much more maturity than I was ready for. After dating him for a few months, we decided to take the relationship to the next level, and get into activities that we had no business doing. This was my first boyfriend ever, so I was curious about exploring 2nd and 3rd base with him. One day, we decided to record the sexual acts that we were partaking in, not knowing that it would later come back to haunt me. Not knowing that I would lose people, I called my “friends” over a silly mistake that I made, and get taunted daily over social media, and in real life.
A couple weeks after recording the video, I tried telling my “boyfriend” to delete it because if it got into the wrong hands my reputation would be shattered. He failed to listen, just as a horny freshman would. He then proceeded to share the video to his close friends and that soon spread quickly around my city.
I failed to mention why the video was so widespread here in Chicago. I have a small following of 12,000 on instagram, so when everyone heard/saw the video, they couldn’t help but show the next person.
I felt hopeless, I felt like my whole image that I portrayed for myself had been torn down, and I was scared that there was no way of redeeming myself.
This specific situation left me in a very anxious state of mind for my last year of middle school, and it followed me into high-school. I felt like everyone knew about my video, I was ashamed. When something like this happens to you, nobody stops to hear your side of the story, they just assume the worst and spread that around.
If you would’ve asked me this question years back, I would’ve still been stuck in the dark dark hole, with no idea of when I’d be coming back. This mistake helped me shape my being into something better than before. I single-handedly (with the help of my mom of course) built my reputation back up and flourished more than ever. I even decided to start a youtube channel, which received lots of love from all around the U.S.
I learned a lot from this unfortunate circumstance that I was placed in.
