Dear Mr. /Ms. _______,
Education is the most effective tool for altering the world. Consequently, Harvard's Online Education Leadership program seeks to cultivate transformative and equitable educators, values that I support. Ever since I was in college, I have believed that education should be not only effective and inclusive but also accessible, equitable, and capable of delivering practical applications to improve our living conditions. In line with this, my goal in becoming an educator is to be a transformative, proactive, and research-based educator for my students. Furthermore, I want to achieve these goals to improve education quality and even help advocate for a more inclusive and accessible educational system.
In the future, I want to make sure that my students have the opportunity to test the theories that they learn and apply them in the real world, regardless of their race, class, gender, or belief. In addition, I aim to empower my students to be multicultural leaders in their professional roles. I also believe that Harvard's Online Education Leadership program is the best course to equip me with skillsets in research, innovation, and advocacy for the betterment of the educational system, especially for those struggling with equal and equitable access to the same.

Nevertheless, one thing that has always bothered me is the discrepancy between inaccessibility and equity in education. Although I am passionate about serving underrepresented groups, more can be done to provide special education students the resources they need to succeed. Educators are responsible for contributing their expertise in developing stimulating learning experiences for students with impairments. I aim to collaborate in interprofessional teams to personalize learning experiences for special needs students. As a result, students can use assistive devices that are fine-tuned to their sensory needs. For instance, video game developers can design software for blind students with audio features that facilitate targeted cognitive responses. Currently, there are limited online resources and mobile apps centered on special needs students, and urgent responses should be made to achieve equity in learning.
This was one of my main concerns when I started taking up my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. During those times, I worked on a project that collated data from various universities in the United Kingdom, which led me to conclude that a significant disparity in educational opportunities for students in this world still exists.
After graduating, I worked in digital marketing and technology. I served as a Marke...
