1. Introduction (2 marks)
Copy and paste the web site address of a Canadian eBusiness. Make sure the website you are researching for this assignment is not a big online store (like Canadian Tire, Best Buy, HBC), bank (like TD, RBC), insurance (like Manulife), or any very large enterprise (like Amazon, Etsy, eBay). Find online stores that are unique in their product offerings and small companies are always good to research on. Write a brief description of the business and what you will be covering in the assignment. 
2. eBusiness (web 2.0) Principles & Concepts (9 marks) Find at least three examples of eBusiness principles & concepts that apply to your site. Look through our previous discussions to get ideas. Explain which principles the examples illustrate and what benefits they provide to both the user/customer and the firm/organization. Be sure to include working links in your assignment to example pages!

4. Search Engine OptimizationLook at some of the keywords (and keyword phrases) that have been incorporated into these pages (view menu > view source or something similar in most browsers)
Imagine some of the keyword phrases that potential customer/users might type into Google. Experiment with Keyword Phrases to create an optimized list of keyword phrases by checking Keyword Search Popularity using Google Trends: https://trends.google.com

b. (5 marks) You must come up with a list of at least ten or more two+ word phrases (ex. Toronto colleges, colleges in Toronto). These should not include the name of the organization or web site. Take a screenshot of your Google Trends list and chart and include it in your report. Provide a brief explanation as to why you choose these keywords/phrases.
c. (4 marks) Based on some of the Keyword Phrases that you chose, come up with a new title and description for the home page of the site you chose. By The Namesake operates a Business to Consumer (B2C) website who mainly sell their products to their end users (/types-of-ecommerce-business-models/). This business models helps the business minimize on its marketing costs as it is in direct contact with its clients. The website has elaborate features, including a chat window, where customers can leave their messages and the management responds to them. The website also makes it easier for the customers to shop and decide on the product that appeals most to them. They can order products and either pick them or have them delivered at their preferred place.
Secondly, the business has an excellent product promotion strategy, which is based on the redefinition of product value. Scrolling the website, the company has four major five main sections that summarize its products, services, campaigns, and a press channel for its customers, and a home page where new customers can visit and read about it. The different channels give the business an opportunity to explain its products and services to the clients. The business has several campaign promotions, such as movement 06, revolution 03, and lookbook 01. All these promotions are meant to market the company products by appealing to different audiences. The promotions help enhance the product appeal to the customers and hence guiding them to know the type of product that suits their desires. The customers can then place their orders through a design studio that allows them to decide on the style that appeals to them the most (/pages/about-us). Through these campaigns, the company redefines its value to its existing and potential customers.
The business also has an excellent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. A CRM system comprises of a series of practices, strategies, and technologies that businesses utilize to manage and assess their customer interactions. By The Namesake manages and assesses its clients by analyzing the pre-orders for new products and responding to customers promptly. The overall model for the website is a Merchant Model.
