Introduction
Doppler Effect is a concept developed by Christian Doppler who after a physical experiment discovered how changes in the wavelength, velocity, and frequency affects the transmission of waves and thereby transmitting of the sound detectable by the human ear. Ganguly (2009) defines the Doppler Effect as the change in the frequency of the sound reflected by a moving object such as ambulance or a moving vehicle or airplane that produces and transmits sounds. It should however be noted that it is only the waves of the sound that are transmitted thereby causing the sound we hear. Using the Doppler Effect this paper establishes this relationship (Ganguly, 2009).
