1 To understand what is nutrition and nutrition deficiency illness. This will provide an insight into the concept of nutrition as well as the health concerns such as iron deficiency anemia, obesity, eating disorders, and dental caries, which are associated ineffective nutrition programs in schools (CDC, 2012).
2 To understand the benefits of healthy eating pattern on adolescent children in schools. This is essential as it elaborates on how healthy eating habits promotes can boost children health, growth, and intellectual development (CDC, 2012).
3 To investigate the impact of poor nutrition by recording the number of children who have been affected by poor eating habits in school.

* Intervention measures and strategies for effective healthy eating in schools.

1 Educate parents and children about the importance of eating healthy meals that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner (DT, JG, & Measham, 2013).
2 Advice the schools about community-based food supplementation programs that can be applied in schools such as food stamps and special Supplement Nutrition Program designed for schools and other institutions.
3 Promote students participation in USDA food programs such as Summer Food Service Program, School Breakfast Program and School Lunch Program and Child and Adult Care Food Program as this program this will help them understand proper nutrition methods (DT, JG, & Measham, 2013).
4 Highlights that actual causes of nutrition related diseases such as anemia, obesity, dental carries, diabetes, stroke, cancer eating disorders as well as malnourishment (CDC, 2012).

* Nutrition, sports/exercise

1 Urging students to participate in sports and exercise, which is essential to strengthen the muscles, burning of extra calories and this is helpful as it controls weight
2 Analyzing the relationship between has student eating habits, their health with and without exercising.

Goal is measured by identifying principles for application in health care in nutrition based on nursing scientific research (DT, JG, & Measham, 2013).
