Research on child development and development of delinquent conduct shows that individual and society conditions influence behavior (Zehr, 2019). Various individual factors and features have been linked with the development of juvenile delinquency. These individual factors include age, fierceness and complications during pregnancy. Some factors can include prenatal, perinatal and others can be recognized in early childhood and during adolescence. Researches of criminal activity by age reliably find that rates of offending starts to increase in preadolescence or during early adolescence, and decrease during young adulthood (Zehr, 2019). Though the particular age of onset and age of desistance differs by offense, the overall pattern has been unusually consistent over time in various countries.
