Since its invention, computer has revolutionized people’s lives all over the world. The technological invention has a wide range of uses, which benefit it users in many ways from communication, entertainment to educational purposes. On a personal level, computer has benefited me in so many ways, touching all aspects of my life.
I own a personal computer which helps me store personal files relating to my studies, photos and other information I think are relevant. For instance, all the photos and videos we normally take as a family or with friends, I save them in my computer since my camera or phone’s storage disks cannot accommodate all of them. The computer has helped me a lot in my school work. With my computer, I use the internet to do research pertaining to my assignments and other personal readings necessary for knowledge acquisition. The internet helps me access online library and school portal where I can update myself with what is going on in my classes even without my physical presence. During my free-time, I use my computer to watch movies or listening to music, helping me to avoid boredom. Computer has also been of great help at my work. Nearly all the work at the office is done on the computer. The computer at work is primary used for communication through emails, storage of information and processing data necessary for the scope of my duties. These make work easier, convenient and efficient, which benefit not only me but also the people who are affected by the work.
