Role Does Imagination Play: Digital Interactions And Technology

Essay Instructions:

There are two given essays.
I've uploaded one given essay. And the other one is from my last order. The essay is also finished by you.
"Alone Together" by Sherry Turkle.
Introductions
The introductory paragraph of your essay is the place in which you explain to your reader EXACTLY what the focus of the paper is. The best way to begin an intro is to jump right into the subject matter on which you're writing (ex. technology, intimacy, authenticity, etc.)
So, what's in an Intro?
One or two sentences describing the subject matter. These will eventually lead to your text descriptions
The name of the essays (in quotation marks) and their authors.
A brief summation of the texts' scope/purpose, key terms or framing ideas from the texts.
A thesis—which is a single, declarative sentence. It should occur at the end of the intro paragraph. It must be arguable.
What's not in the Intro?
Quotations. Save them for the body paragraphs where they can be fully analyzed.
A thesis as a question. Do not construct an interrogative statement to act as your argument.
Any references to “outside” texts, essays from other courses, or dictionary definitions. Please avoid, “Miriam Webster's online dictionary defines technology as…”
Summary of the texts beyond two consecutive sentences.
Conclusions
Now it's time to essentially reverse your intro paragraph. At this point, you should have successfully established and supported your thesis through your body paragraphs. Begin your conclusion by reiterating your thesis as a now, fully-validated idea.
Conclusions SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN ½ page long. If it is, you need another subtopic, not a page-long concluding paragraph.
Restate your argument as having been proven
Write one or two sentences detailing what EACH body paragraph argued and how each aspect supports your thesis.
Explore the impact of your essay on the very subject matter with which you began in the intro.
The only BODY PARAGRAPH structure you will ever need.
This works best for essays involving TWO texts but you can also use it for Essay
Topic sentence—this must be a claim, not a quote, not an observation of text, but an arguable claim that covers the connection you make in the paragraph.
Introduce Q1—quotes need context, attribution and relevance in order for the reader to see in them what you see. The set up should be at least one full sentence that gives these details.
Q1 IDEA quote
Explain and analyze Q1. What word underscores the meaning of that quote?
CONNECTION (also called the mid-paragraph connection or the cross-textual connection)
Introduce Q2-- quotes need context, attribution and relevance in order for the reader to see in them what you see. The set up should be at least one full sentence that gives these details.
Q2 INFO quote (most likely)
Explain and analyze Q2
Refocus—this is where you include one or two sentences redirecting the reader to your Topic Sentence or mid-paragraph connection. Make sure you are still discussing what you set out to at the beginning of the subtopic.
Transition sentence to the next body paragraph.
