Flow theory, also called optimal experience (Obada, pp. 144), helps get a clear understanding of users' behavior when sharing fake news on social media; the sensation that a user gets when they are fully involved. Social media has affected how people communicate with each other (Obada, pp. 146). Communication practitioners and works of public relation need to have a clear understanding of the flow theory because the amount of information on social media platforms affect how brands work. When fake news is more than the truth, brands happen to lose their communication strategy. When communication practitioners understand what the consumers want (Obada, pp. 158), they can use that to prevent losing their customers. They can use the flow theory as a means of being creative or being motivated.
