American Heritage University Personal Statement
The reason I consider enrolling in the American heritage university law degree program is because it is a very competitive line of career in the current job market today and American Heritage University is known to offer the best especially in law. As a student at community college I have always had the passion to practice law and justice, so as to pursue my dream of becoming a professional lawyer. The reason why am transferring to American Heritage University Law school is because apart from being known for its excellent academic program. I have learnt that the school of law has experienced lecturers who are also part time law practitioners. This is of benefit for me as a student since I only want the best.
The reason I desire to complete my law degree at American Heritage University is because I have taken note of the many advantages associated with it. The most important reason is that American Heritage University is a recognized university nationally and internationally as a university that offers quality law and this will give me a competitive advantage over other practitioners from less recognized institutions as an affiliate from the university I will stand a better chance of creating opportunities to practice my acquired skills after the completion of my degree program.
A few factors have changed concerning law offered in various universities and the way law and justice is practiced in the world today. Ever since the first time I attended community college new ideas have emerged that has revolutionized the way law is practiced some of them being the new laws that have been enacted by courts around the world and the way they are enacted. Furthermore there is more awareness about human rights, gender sensitivity, media rights among others.
The reason am choosing to complete my law degree course at American Heritage University is because the university offers online degrees and long distance learning which will be very convenient for me since I have to study part time from my location. In addition it offers a four year programme which is just what I wanted. Finally its successful graduates get a chance to sit for the CA bar after which I get the chance to practice law in CA. As a law student I will be ready to commit myself in studying and understanding the law fully in order to be able to deliver. This I will do by implementing the following:
1 Allocating regular study hours per day to master the course content.
2 2. I will dedicate time for research and enquiry on my field of study to increase my scope of learning.
3 I will review the latest trends and changes within the state about law and justice. I intend to get in to conduct with professional lawyers especially lawyers from American Heritage University if it is possible.
