P5. Discuss ethnocentrism in that it is an idea that we are correct about something but may not see what others may see.that is, we may not be right or that our priorities may be different than others as seen in both videos. We experience things based on many factors, perception (a biological function) and means others see the world differently than we do. When we know that others do have the same experiences, do not see the same things, and have a different world view we can begin to acknowledge their differences as a result of their worldview and not always an absolute sense of knowing we are us and yet we alone are right. This is known as cultural relativism.

P1.
One of the reasons why misrepresentation and distraction happen in humans is our tendency to focus on one stimulus while ignoring others. In the video by Aleksas Drozdovskis entitled “Basketball Awareness Game” it could be seen how the makers were able to conceal the moonwalking bear in plain sight by making the viewers aware of a single visual stimulus (i.e., the number of ball passes). This is particularly true when we are giving too much effort on focusing in a single stimulus. However, upon viewing the video from the end (or after viewing it entirely) we would learn that by having an awareness of these stimulus our senses immediately notice what we cannot see previously. In fact, upon replaying the video, one could focus his senses in counting the number of passes while also being able to notice the bear.
