Discipline Narrative Name Institution Date Environmental conservation is a major concern today due to the prevalence of infections arising from pollutions and hazardous weather conditions. Specifically, environmental pollution is attributed to various human activities on land, air, and water to meet the current economic needs as far as natural resources are concerned. Despite its importance in providing raw materials for manufacturing various industrial products, the massive exploitation, and prevalence of illegal activities have raised concerns to examine the causes and intervention strategies to avoid depletion of resources and preserve nature for future generations. Research to determine the appropriate means of conserving the environment focus on its causes as far as human activities are concerned. Among human activities that lead to environmental pollution, including industrial ventures that concerns with manufacturing various mechanical and biological products consumed in the economy. Specifically, manufacturing industries that deal with petroleum products, as well as those in the food industries, are identified as prominent pollutants of the environment. These industries affect human surrounding due to their irresponsible disposal of wastes. According to my research, these companies dispose of their wastes by discharging them in water bodies and various dumpsites that surround their locations. While there are policies that approve safe disposal of wastes, many of these organizations violate the rules hence releasing toxic substances that threaten both aquatic and human life as well as vegetation. Hence, relevant authorities need to enforce strict rules that guide the disposal of wastes to conserve the environment.
