Q1. Did you agree with the results that you obtained? For full credit, you must explain why or why not.
My results revealed that I have a logistician personality that falls under that of ISTJ (I-Introverted, S-Sensing, T-Thinking, and J-Judging). My role was a sentinel, and my variant was assertive. Generally, this type of individual is loyal, independent, hard-working, and values relationships with individuals who appreciate and respect their efforts and worth. They dislike individuals who are lazy, fail to keep their word or fail to pull their weight. Often, individuals with the logistician personality are described as insensitive, always by the book, stubborn, judgmental, and often unreasonably blame themselves.
I agree with the results I obtained. Overall, the test did an excellent job of generalizing. I especially agree with the phrase given, “for it is better to be alone, than in bad company.” This is especially true because I would rather do things alone than be in the company of individuals who will drag me behind. The most accurate statement is how logisticians can be viewed as insensitive when in essence, we are just blunt. While not intentionally insensitive, I have hurt the feelings of sensitive types by the simple mantra that honesty is the best policy. My results add up to the tee of who I am and how I behave.

I believe it is ethical to use the MBTI in the workplace because just like other assessment instruments, the MBTI offers one lens among many for understanding behavior and personality. This particular lens provides strong applications for advancing teamwork and workplace communication (Berney, 2010). Many individuals gain self-insight from their MBTI results; thus, it is ethical to use in the workplace and beneficial to the organization as a whole.
