Addressing the healthcare needs of the citizens in the next decade
To improve and enhance efficiency in providing health care services to the citizens, the United Healthcare organization is practicing on various improvements to meet this goal. The application of research and technological improvement aids in improving the health care services and quality of life to the citizens (Leiyu, 2009). In the next decade, there will be explosions of new and exciting technology for the treatment of chronic diseases. Through the application of technology, scientists will be able to study the genes of the citizens to create drugs that will be able to prevent specific diseases in the future (Association, 2010).
