* The study of anthropology requires the capacity to be able to identify piecemeal information and variable amidst the voluminous data that one can encounter in this field. This is one of the reasons why the study is holistic in nature. However, as could be seen in the video, too much focus on one task, point-of-view, or paradigm can lead to a lack of awareness on other variables that might present the answer to our questions. In turn, this lack of holistic mindset or sense of narrow-mindedness could endanger the need for a holistic approach in one’s research. In other words, this means that even though the anthropologists should utilize a specific paradigm to explain a phenomena, he must be aware of his surroundings and circumstances that could be used to answer his question.
